As a Compliance Project Administrator, you will assist with the day-to-day operations and management of the tax credit and other funding programs that require detailed income verification and periodic reporting to other agencies. This person will work closely with the Compliance Manager and Director of Operations.

This role will be a remote position with some travel for the right candidate.

Some of what you’ll be doing as a Compliance Project Administrator:
• Effectively and accurately communicate relevant information to everyone working on a project.
• Input collected utility amounts in the baseline spreadsheet for annual analysis.
• Gather Yearly updated PHA utility allowance schedules and upload to SP for the Compliance Specialists to complete UA updates.
• Assist with the process of annual, quarterly, and monthly reporting to state agencies including HOME, IHDA, WHEDA, AHP.
• Complete on-site file audits, documenting findings, and work with property to correct findings.
• Assist and organize tasks for Investor/Owner file audits including reviewing and uploading files, tracking on calendars, generating letters, file storage and meeting deadlines for project completion.
• Organization and process improvement of compliance folders and implementing labeling systems within SharePoint.
• Use company software to assist with reporting and other projects as assigned.
• Process HUD repayment plans.
• Train staff as needed by documenting policies and procedures, maintain the compliance training manual, and organizing materials in SharePoint.
• Organize documents for community managers that include eligibility requirements, EIV, TSP, etc.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations for virtual learning.
• Creating eligibility summaries for new projects and update previous versions to the revised version.
• Maintain compliance summaries in SharePoint, ensuring changes to income limits, max rents, and utility allowances have all been recorded properly.

What you’ll bring to the table as a Compliance Project Administrator:
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of compliance experience in a property management & Affordable Housing setting required.
• COS and HCCP current certificate required.
• Knowledge of compliance standard operating procedures and best practices.
• Experience with OneSite preferred
• Ability to prioritize and possess efficient time management skills.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills with ability to handle complaints in a positive and time efficient manner.
• Goal-oriented and team player.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
